Fourth Anniversary of 15th of July Thwarted Coup Attempt in Turkey
SETA Brussels is organising a web-panel entitled “Fourth Anniversary of the 15th of July Thwarted Coup Attempt in Turkey” on Tuesday, 14th of July 2020 at 21.00 o’clock, Brussels Time. The event; co-organised with the Turkish Embassy in Brussels – is taking place online and will be live-streamed on the social media accounts.
The web-panel discussion will focus on the coup attempt carried out by those belonging to the Fethullahist Terrorist Organisation (FETÖ) in 2016 and its aftermath. The keynote speech will be delivered by Dr. Hasan Ulusoy, the Ambassador of Republic of Turkey to Brussels.
The SETA Brussels Coordinator Enes Bayraklı will moderate the web-panel and the panelist include Robert Amsterdam, lawyer and advocate for rule of law, Atilla Yayla, Professor of Social and Political Theory at Istanbul Medipol University, Yusuf Alabarda, retired soldier from Turkish Armed Forces and academic, and Hasan Basri Yalçın, Director of Strategic Studies at SETA Istanbul.
